PDFlib PLOP and PDFlib PLOP DS are available under commercial licensing.

The two products of the PDFlib PLOP family are distributed within a single package which is fully functional, but has a few restrictions until a valid license key is applied. According to your order the license key will activate PDFlib PLOP or PDFlib PLOP DS.

One license covers a single computer running under the selected operating system platform, regardless of the number of CPUs. An individual license key is necessary for every individual system. Details of the commercial PLOP license can be found in the document PDFlib PLOP licensing which is also contained in the distribution.

Customers in the Americas, Australia and Japan will be invoiced in US-$, all other regions in Euro. Customers in Germany must add 19% VAT (MwSt.).

We offer discounted packages for the combination of PDFlib and PLOP DS which can be used for creating and signing PDF documents. If you order a standard licence of PDFlib 7, PDFlib+PDI 7, or PDFlib Personalization Server (PPS) 7 in combination with PLOP DS 3 (on the same platform) you will get 50% discount on the PLOP DS license.

Volume discounts are available for multiple licenses of the same product, provided all licenses are part of a single order.

We offer optional support contracts in combination with a new product license, or to renew an existing support contract. The support fee per year is 18% of the corresponding license fee. Customers with an active support contract will benefit from the following advantages:

all minor (maintenance) and major (functional) updates included for free

early availability of patchlevel (bugfix) versions

maintenance releases and technical support available until the end of a

An update changes an existing license to a license for a newer version of the same product on the same platform. An update invalidates the old license. CPU-based licenses for PLOP 2 can be updated at a reduced license fee. Each CPU license for PLOP 2 entitles to an update to a PLOP 3 license. For example, a dual-CPU license for PLOP 2 can be updated to two PLOP 3 licenses. A valid license key must be supplied with an update order. Maintenance updates (e.g., from version 3.0 to 3.1) are free.

License keys for earlier versions will not work with PLOP 3.

An upgrade changes an existing license for PLOP 3 to a license for PLOP DS 3 on the same platform. An upgrade invalidates the old license. PLOP 3 licenses can be upgraded at a reduced fee. A valid license key must be supplied with an upgrade order:
